Disc Golf at Centennial Park
The Plymouth Park Department presents a free 5-hole disc golf course at Centennial Park! This course is open to the public during the warmer months of the year and is not available in the winter.
Disc Golf is played like traditional “ball” golf, but with flying discs instead of balls and clubs. One point (stroke) is counted each time the disc is thrown and when a penalty is incurred. The goal is to land your disc into each basket in the fewest strokes possible. The player with the lowers total strokes for the entire course wins. Each hole starts with a throw from behind the starting post. Each subsequent throw is made exactly behind where the last landed. A run-up and follow through is allowed. After teeing off, the player farthest out from the hole throws first. The hole is finished when your disc comes to rest in the chains or basket. The player with the fewest strokes on the last hole is the first to tee off the next. A player that throws out of bounds (into the woods or dog park) take a penalty stroke and relief three feet in bounds from where the disc went out.
